All New South Wales Fabians members are formally invited - and all supporters welcome - to attend the NSW Australian Fabian Branch Annual General Meeting to be held at 6.00pm on Wednesday 19th July 2023 at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts at 280 Pitt Street, Sydney. Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP with details below. There will be a Zoom option and that link will be sent in an email to you upon completion of your RSVP.
Nominations are now open and can be submitted using this form. To be eligible to nominate you must be a financial member to be nominated and be over 18 years of age. Executive members must be prepared to take an active role in running the branch, and attend Board and other meetings as required. They must also be prepared to act in the best interests of the organisation without conflict of interest, support the purposes of the association, and comply with the constitution.
To nominate you must complete the nomination form, which includes nomination by two other current Fabians members, and return it to the Returning Officer, Damien Stapleton by 5:00pm Wednesday 12th July, 2023. His contact details are included on the form. If you wish to nominate someone else please make sure the person you are nominating has consented to the nomination.
If you can't come to the AGM but would like to vote, please complete the proxy form (available here) and send it to the returning officer prior to 5:00pm on Wednesday 12th July 2023. Contact details for the returning officer are on the form.
