Running over Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th March (1:30-5:00pm WAST), this is an intensive, two-half day training course on campaign leadership and organising. While staffers are welcome, the course is primarily aimed at campaign volunteers and workplace delegates from across the labour movement who wish to strengthen their campaign skills. The course will be delivered by trained and experienced organiser-leaders that have completed structured training directly based on curricula developed by Professor Marshall Ganz through his program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. - Public Narrative Coaching - How to coach others to tell their story
- Coaching for Organisational Challenges - How to support others to solve campaign problems
- Organising Overview - Key aspects of campaign strategy and engagement
- An Introduction to Digital Organising - The role of email, social media and other communications
- Concurrent sessions i.e. one only to be undertaken, options are:
