We'll begin this years AGM with an address from former SA Labor Premier Jay Weatherill on "Early Childhood Development - The Next Great Social Reform". With a long standing interest in this policy area having served as a Minister for Child Protection, Jay has advanced this policy through his current role as CEO of the Minderoo Foundation. There will be time for Q & A, following which we'll have the formalities of our AGM. Nominations are now open from any financial members of the WA Branch of Australian Fabians (you can join here now if you wish), for positions as WA Convenor (1), WA Organising Group Members (6) and WA Member of the Australian Fabians National Board (1).
