The Victorian Fabians Annual Dinner fundraiser is back! The biggest event of our annual calendar, this year you will have a choice of attending the dinner in person, or hear the speaker via Zoom (speaker address only).

In RESET, renowned economist Ross Garnaut shows how the COVID-19 crisis offers Australia the opportunity to reset its economy and build a successful future – and why the old approaches will not work.
He develops the idea of a renewable superpower, calls for a basic income and explores what the ‘decoupling’ of China and America will mean for Australia.
Speaker: Ross Garnaut
Ross Garnaut is an economist whose career has been built around policy connected to development, the economy and international relations in Australia, Asia and the Pacific. He has held senior roles in universities, business, government and other Australian and international institutions. He is Professor Emeritus within the University of Melbourne in Business and Economics.
DINNER ATTENDANCE:
Cost: $65 members / $80 for non-members. Tickets need to be booked by Friday 3rd Dec. Note the COVID vaccination requirements below.

Guests arrive from 6.00pm, canapés from 6.30pm, two-course meal beginning 7.00pm. Speaker to be introduced 8:00pm.
COVID Restrictions:
Vaccination Status: All dinner attendees are required to be fully vaccinated and able to show proof of vaccination on the night. A guide on how to show proof of vaccination is at this link https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/vaxproof
If you're booking on behalf of other people, please also ensure they are all aware of the requirement to show proof of full vaccination when they attend the dinner.
COVID safe practices will be in place on the night.
If you have booked tickets for our originally advertised date in November:
Your booking will remain valid for the new date and we will email you separately with some updated tickets. If you are unable to attend on the new date then your tickets will be refunded - please email the Victorian Fabians on [email protected] to request a refund.
ZOOM ATTENDANCE:
Cost: As this is our annual fundraiser, we are charging a minimal ticket price for our Zoom attendees. Flat rate $10.
