The Victorian Fabians will be conducting our Annual Dinner on Tuesday December 1st at the William Angliss restaurant.
We are pleased that Ross Garnaut will be the keynote speaker at this year's Dinner.
Ross Garnaut is a Distinguished Professor of Economics at the Australian National University and both a Vice-Chancellor's Fellow and Professorial Fellow of Economics at Melbourne University.
Professor Garnaut has been one of Australia's most consistent and effective advocates for urgent action on climate change, and he will address the commitments Australia should be taking to the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris next month.
In addition there will be a special presentation by Fiona McCormack, CEO of Domestic Violence Victoria, into issues being addressed by the Royal Commission into Family violence.
