These economic times demand bold intervention to reconstruct our shattered economy and rebuild Australia.
Recently, Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has stated the Federal Government is channelling inspiration from Thatcher and Reagen.
Under a Thatcher and Reagen administration inequality skyrocketed and society suffered.

- Van Badham - AUS | Van is a theatre-maker and novelist, occasional broadcaster, critic and feminist. She is vice-president of the MEAA, Victoria. She writes columns for the Guardian and lives in Melbourne. Van has also written an article on this topic recently.
- Eva Cox - Fabians Patron - AUS | In her opening line of the 1995 Boyer Lectures - Eva said When Margaret Thatcher said 'There's no such thing as society', she lost the plot! - Eva is a writer, feminist, sociologist, social commentator and activist. She has been an active advocate for creating a "more civil" society.
- Peter Kerr - University of Birmingham - UK | Peter is a Senior Lecturer in Politics. He specializes and teaches in the area of British politics, with a particular focus on governmental strategies, UK political parties, political leadership and ideology in the UK and, changes and continuities in British political institutions and public policy since 1945.
- Pete Dorey - Cardiff University - UK | A Professor of British Politics, His research interests focus on several aspects of British Politics, and public policy, in the period from 1945 to the present day. To date, he has written, co-authored or edited 15 books on aspects of British politics or public policy, on British Conservatism and the Politics of Inequality. Pete has also written the following for the UK Fabians on Thatcherism.
