Don't get angry, get skilled to get organised. The Queensland Branch of Australian Fabians is proud to offer this training based on the leadership framework developed by Harvard Prof Marshall Ganz (go here for an overview he provided at a recent Fabian event). His work is has drawn from decades of experience as a union, civil right and party political campaigner and has been adapted by many progressive political parties, environmental groups and other civil society entities. This is high quality training directly based on his curricula.
Modules include how to coach for leadership, public narrative for campaigns, and campaign strategy and organisation.
There will be a course manual and required pre-reading. Presentations, Q & A and small group work will be undertaken during the course and participants are expected to have read materials and to come prepared to engage. Lunch is included in the course fee. We will confirm details soon for a dinner with the trainers on the Saturday evening. That dinner will be an additional cost.
