COVID19 has laid bare existing inequalities, and intensified others. Women have borne the brunt of a contracting labour market, as well as intensified their labour in caring for children. At the same time, violence against women has increased. Australian women despair that the Government even notices these dynamics, let alone has an appetite to solve them. The times demand an active feminism.
