All Queensland Fabians members and supporters are formally invited and welcome to attend the our Annual General Meeting, 2.00pm, Saturday, 18 April 2026, in person in Room KG_A105 QUT Kelvin Grove campus. Regional or ill members may attend online via Zoom (link send via email upon RSVP).
We are currently approaching some interesting speakers and will advise of our final speakers before the meeting.

The meeting will endorse the election of the Committee to run the Queensland Branch for the next year. We encourage members to participate so that we can provide you with the events that you want to see in coming days and we can advocate for policy positions that we think are important.
We are calling for nominations for the following positions:
- Convenor
- Deputy Convenor
- Secretary
- Treasurer Assistant
- Ordinary Executive Member (x4) (at least one of whom should be from a regional area
- National Board Representative

Nomination forms must be signed by two current members of the Qld Fabians and bear the signed acceptance of the nominee.

To be eligible to nominate you must be a financial member and be over 18 years of age. Executive members must be prepared to take an active role in running the branch, and attend Board and other meetings as required. They must also be prepared to act in the best interests of the organisation without conflict of interest, support the purposes of the association, and comply with the constitution.
